Titre(Anglais) Tank 3D
Type(Anglais) Prototype de jeu
Tâches(Anglais) Scénarisation, Programmeur, Designer de jeu
Année(Anglais) 1995
Description(Anglais) This game didn't go very far in it's development cycle. Again began by a developper who finally gave up. I picked up the project and tried to bring it to completion. Unfortunately, I had other projects that called for my attention, so this one was shelved after a short while. All the graphics on this page are mine. The engine was originally made by another programmer, but I had to restructure most of the code and the final engine is mostly mine.

The game itself would have looked and felt alot like Novalogic's Ultrabots. Pre-rendered 3D graphics imported as stretcheable sprites. Flat terrain with an occasionnal rock, tree, or flat-polygoned mountain. Hey, it was 1994! Most of the concepts and storyline behind this game was taken to make the short film Barnard 2432.

(Anglais) The 3D engine was nearly completed. It featured pre-rendered sprite manipulation with bitmap stretching/shrinking ability. The result was similar to Novalogic's Ultrabots.

(Anglais) These are the only two screenshots of the engine in action. As you probably noticed, none of the cockpit art is done.

(Anglais) Sol Federation Dropship. As you can see here, every vehicle could be seen from many different pre-rendered angles.

(Anglais) Barnard Republic Missile Launcher.

(Anglais) Barnard Republic Tank.

(Anglais) Sol Federation Battle Armor.
